Inside the Lens: SF Rockdogs

Recently filmming at a club in SF's Castro an episode of a new show (Rockdogs is the working title) that will follow the 12 gay ballers as they share a roof and work toward getting the team back into shape for a big competition. Considering the show is about gay athletes and also that the team is primarily composed of African-American players, Rockdogs looks to be a much-needed shot in the arm for diversity in gay television.The show will premiere next summer. In the meantime, check out these shots from the recent flimming. The film features the O' so popular Demarco Majors, who recently been featured in a number of magazines and media publications. Can't wait to see the premiere later this summer. Hopefully, this show will give a much needed shot in the arm for LGBT programming. With potential of the popular Noah's Arc, B-Boy Blues, DL Chronicles, HereTV and other positive LGBT programming, in the works. The stereotypical view of LGBT men and women will be showcased in a brighter light. Time will tell. At any rate big ups to Demarco and his comrades for participating in this venture. Oh how could i forget check out Joe Hawkins and his partner in the scene.
