Black Lesbian Assassins on the Silver Screen

Move over Cleopatra Sims (Set It Off) and watch out Pam Grier (The L Word), there’s some new lesbian action headed to the silver screen. Smokin’ Aces debuts in theatres nationwide on January 26 and features an all-star cast, including Taraji P. Henson and Alicia Keys in the roles of dueling lesbian assassins.  Yes, you read right! Smokin’ Aces is a film about a dying mob boss who takes out a $1 million contract on the life of his former protégé, a Vegas magician turned gangster who has agreed to testify against the mob. The FBI attempts to protect their key witness as an array of hit men and women descend on Lake Tahoe in a race to take the magician out. MORE ON THIS STORY
