Missy Elliott has just signed a deal with Doritos to do an ad campaign for their new “Collision” chips. According to reports, the commercials debut September 17 and feature Elliott in the studio creating a “mash up,” while eating Doritos Collision chips, which contain two distinct flavor of chips. An online component to the campaign will also allow fans to create their own mash up singles, using the Grammy Award winning producer’s tracks in a competition for prizes. The advertising campaign also serves generate awareness for Missy Elliot’s upcoming album, The Countdown. (Source) I mean, we all knew Missy hit hard times, but wow.
