Terrence Howard's had widely-acclaimed roles in movies like Dead Presidents, Hustle & Flow and Iron Man
over the years, but according to him, his first love is actually music:
"Music has always been the road that leads to where I’m headed. Music
is my own personal form of expression," he said in a recent interview.
Well, Terrence is coming out with an 11-song debut album, Shine Through It,
via Columbia Records on Sept. 2, 2008, and although he's an extremely
talented actor, his singing's apparently nowhere near as great as his
film work. Yours truly's been unimpressed with the songs from the album
I've heard so far; this seems like a complete vanity project. But to be
fair, the first single, "Sanctuary," isn't horrible and has a nice
