Chris Brown and Rihanna reportedly are recording a new duet in a Santa Monica recording studio.Talk about silly love songs. E! News is reporting that the couple's new duet -- which we're guessing will be a love song -- will appear on Brown's new album. Award-winning record producer Polow Da Don, who has worked with Brown before, has been with them at the recording studio. No comments from their reps because, really, what would they say?
Other than, maybe, "It's all part of our devious plan to save these
kids' careers and keep the money rolling in." Will her lyrics be: "Even though you [allegedly] made me black and
blue, I'm so in love with you. You're still my fella-ella, ella, ella." Or maybe his will be:"Baby, baby, I'm so sorry I [allegedly] beat you. But we got that
young love. Girl, we can prove ‘em wrong, show ‘em how it’s done. And
if not, then you just done the stupidest thing ever.”Producer Adonis Shropshire confirmed to E! that Rihanna, the 21-year-old Grammy-winning singer was indeed back in the studio."You have to remember, she's a kid still," he told E! "So with
anybody who goes through something in the world, you have to bring
yourself out of it. ... I guess her refuge is her music."Yeah, right. Our guess is that she has been told that this is the
only way the public will forgive Chris Brown so he can save his career.
What Rihanna may not realize is that she is risking her own career to
save his.No wonder she still hasn't spoken to her father, or so he tells the Barbados Nation News.As Oprah Winfrey has noted, most abusers "will hit you again."
And Rihanna could be missing the opportunity to be a powerful role
model to young women who are beaten by husbands and boyfriends. But since it seems the only people she's listening to are rap and
R&B music power players, she probably feels like she cannot go up
against the entire misogynistic music industry alone. SOURCE:LATIMES.COM
