A million people have reportedly registered for tickets to see Michael Jackson perform in London this summer in what he is calling his "final" series of shows. The King of Pop announced plans last week to perform a string of ten concerts at the 02 arena beginning July 8. The Web site launched for people to register for pre-sale tickets is receiving 14,000 hits per minute, according to WENN, and the fan interest has prompted speculation that more London dates may be announced. Jackson's business manager Dr. Tohme Tohme insists that Jackson is physically ready for a summer concert run, and is not in poor health as suggested by recent tabloid reports and photos of his repeated visits to a Beverly Hills clinic. "He has come back to put an end to all the rumors about his health. And I think he has answered his critics," said Tohme. "He is back to his old self. He's fine and couldn't be in better shape. He was away for all this time because he was dedicating his life to his children." Fox411 columnist Roger Friedman says Jackson's kids are also the main reason for his return to the stage. He wrote: "A source close to him tells me, 'Michael’s doing it for his kids. He wanted them to see, at least once, what he did for a living.'" Friedman also shared more details about the London concerts, and the whereabouts of Jackson's former publicist Raymone Bain:SOURCE:EURWEB.COM
