upcoming full-length album, the Los-Angeles based new
wave-electro-sex-punk duo are trying their best to tease us
mercilessly. This time around, J*DaVey bring the sultry track "Slooow" from their double EP Beauty in Distortion / Land of the Lost,
to life through a video that subtly melts into our speakers and our
eardrums. Set behind a quivering red and black backdrop that oozes,
bends, and spreads across the screen, the video takes us into an
abstract dream-like world that lets us see what J*DaVeY's understated
and suggestive bleeps and coos look like in the visual realm. The video, directed by up and comer Tomas Whitmore, has already premiered at #8 on BET JAMS and is up for MTVU's The Freshman Contest.
Starting this today at 11am EST until Friday at noon, J*DaVeY babies
can vote for "Slooow" as many times as they want. If "Slooow" beats out
the competitors, the video will be placed in permanent rotation on MTV.
