The Bay Area is back with more bass, beats and
bravado for your speakers, this time in the form of Moe
Green. The young emcee hails from Vallejo, CA, home
to Left Coast legends E-40 and Mac Dre,
and is on his way to building a hip-hop legacy of his own. The first
offering from the future star is a video for "Non Title Match",
the Martin produced track from Moe's upcoming Rocky
Maivia project. Directed by Drip
Digital, the video finds Moe getting his chill on to a
session of Super Nintendo-assisted wrestling, while also finding time
to flip rhymes and announce his arrival in the hip-hop ring. "Just
might be the hottest rapper you know," raps Moe over a relaxed piano and
horn-laden beat that would serve as the perfect soundtrack to any laid
back afternoon. But it's not all couches and cheat codes, as Moe
channels his inner Rocky Maivia and dons a championship belt and mask to
slam a few bars down for your speakers. As Moe says, "it's destiny fam
- I was meant to the be the man", and next time Green is gunning for
that title belt.
